This two-day class is for individuals who want to bring peace, balance and ease to their mind, body and spirit and to the animals in their circle of life at home, a shelter or rescue and/or work. This class is the beginner teachings of the traditional Japanese system of Reiki and the Let Animals Lead® method of Animal Reiki created by Kathleen Prasad.
You will learn and practice the tools of the traditional Japanese system of Reiki and how they will support your well-being: the Reiki precepts, techniques and meditations, and hand positions for self-treatment and for family and friends. You will learn about the ethics and protocol for offering Reiki to animals.
There will be lots of practice time on both days giving you the opportunity to feel and experience the Reiki energy, and to gain the confidence to offer Reiki to animals, and friends and family. A manual is provided and a certificate will be given upon completion of the class.
In between classes, students will be assigned homework and asked to practice with their animals at home or at a rescue/shelter/friend’s home using the methods learned in class.
Maximum number of students is eight (8).
