Elisa Munafò is a SARA Practitioner based in Rome, Italy. She has been working and volunteering with welfare organizations in Italy and in the UK since 2010, caring for horses and other animals. Her personal journey through the system of Reiki healing led her to complete the Shinpiden and Animal Reiki Teacher Training course with Kathleen Prasad at Remus Memorial Horse Sanctuary. As a SARA volunteer, she aims to share this healing opportunity with shelters, sanctuaries and clinics in Rome and surroundings, where she lives. Margret Kouwenhoven is a SARA Practitioner who lives in Pijnacker, The Netherlands.
She currently volunteers at an animal shelter in Vlaardingen where they rescue dogs and cats. Margret started her Reiki journey by learning human reiki in 2001 and more recently completed the animal reik workshop and Shinpiden and Animal Reiki Teacher training with Kathleen Prasad. I am Jenny, a practitioner based in Berlin Germany. I am a dog walker, dog trainer and also offer holistic medicine for animals such as Homeopathy, Phytotherapy and Mycotherapy. I have lived in Venezuela for some years and during that time worked with a lot of street animals. I learned so much from those animals and tried to offer as much help in different ways as I could. I am in nature as often as I can and love traveling with my family including our 3 cats and our dog. I live in Berlin with my husband and son but hopefully soon we will be moving to Florida. No matter where I am my heart and compassion are always there to be with animals and help them.
Katie Gwilt
Hi, I’m Katie The Kat Lady based in Liverpool and a Reiki Let Animals Lead® Practitioner. I run my own business as a holistic mobile master cat groomer covering the North West also studying Zoopharmacognosy, Animal Acupressure and Feline Behaviour. I am a foster carer for my local cat charity, Garston Animal Rescue and do some grooming for them as well. I am in the process of setting up regular Reiki sessions for the cats in their care and am basically all about cats! I live with 4 cats of my own plus at the moment a foster cat called Shiva as well. I love to travel, read, craft and go to the cinema when I have a spare minute. I also can’t resist stationary, especially notebooks and pastel highlighters!
Amanda Davy
Amanda Davy is a SARA Animal Reiki Practitioner based in Surrey, England. Amanda started practicing Reiki in 2008 but it wasn’t until one of her cats was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2009 that her Animal Reiki journey began. She completed her training with Kathleen at the CARE foundation in Florida and, whilst her love for animals keeps her open to all kinds, big and small, it is horses that have found their way most into her life. Amanda also practices Equine Shiatsu and Craniosacral therapy and enjoys combining this with her Reiki practice and seeing how well the therapies complement each other.

Sandra Maitland is a SARA Practitioner based in Penticton, British Columbia. She works full-time as manager of a senior activity centre but spends her spare time offering Animal Reiki to clients’ pets and volunteering at Critteraid Animal Sanctuary in Summerland, BC. Sandra has worked closely with rescue goats but loves all kinds of animals. She has owned horses, dogs, cats and other animals, including a pet duck. She enjoys spending time in the country.
Tamara Grodzicky
Tamara Grodzicky is a SARA practitioner trained in the Let Animals Lead® method of Animal Reiki and is based in the South Shore region of Montreal, Québec (Canada). Ever since she was a small child, Tamara loved and worshipped animals and nature. She recently decided to pursue this passion through the devoted study of Animal Reiki (levels 1 and 2), which she offers to shelter animals as a volunteer at the Canadian Society for the Protection of Animals, to her own animals, and also to the many wild animals that often visit her house. Aside from taking care of her three teenagers, her husband, three cats and one dog, as well as her patients (she has been practicing medicine as a rheumatologist for the past twenty years), she is a fervent advocate of animal welfare. Tamara has found her full vocation in life: to help not only people, but animals and nature as well. She is available for in person or distant treatments of Animal Reiki.
Melody Gray
Melody Gray is a SARA practitioner based in Parksville, BC. She spends her time working and volunteering as an Animal Reiki/Reiki practitioner and Foot Reflexologist. She provides in person and mobile Reiki services in and around the Vancouver Island area. She enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren, and of course her very active Belgian Malinios. Born and raised on Vancouver Island allows plenty of opportunity to explore the great outdoors, hiking and camping.
Sandra Ferguson
Sandra Ferguson is a SARA Animal Reiki Practitioner. From a young age Sandra could be found with a cat in her arms and a dog trailing along while at her Grandparent’s farm on Manitoulin Island. Sandra is pictured with a client Lynus, although he is deaf and blind he has reached a ripe old age and continues to enjoy a good quality of life. She lives in Lively, Ontario, Canada with her partner and their three fur babies in a rural setting. These days she volunteers at local cat and dog shelters offering Reiki to sheltered and fostered cats and dogs as well as a variety of wild birds and animals that inhabit the natural areas surrounding her home. She offers in-person and distance Reiki sessions for animals, adults and children.
Julie Blaquiere
Julie’s Reiki journey began a few years ago and quickly became an important part of her life. She observed many of her own changes as well as with her dog Marley who was a rescue. She instantly knew Animal Reiki was something she was interested in pursuing. Finding the “Let the Animal Lead®” method was truly meant to be.
She enjoys volunteering at the local shelter and offering Reiki to the animals of the Restigouche county SPCA on a weekly basis. Spreading awareness about the healing that can happen when we are stepping into a space of peace and calm. Julie is recently certified as a Reiki practitioner with the CRA (Canadian Reiki Association). She offers Reiki sessions for people and pets in person.

Tiffany Kneeland
Tiffany’s passion is to help animals and their people to “become their best selves” by becoming more balanced in body, mind, and spirit. She is a lifelong learner and has studied numerous healing modalities including meditation and breathwork, sound healing, animal massage, and most recently, helping animals to heal themselves through the self-selection of herbs and essential oils. She completed her Shinpiden and Animal Reiki Teacher training with Kathleen Prasad of Animal Reiki Source in 2017, later studying with Kathleen’s teacher, Frans Stiene, in order to receive the Shinpiden Level III Usui Reiki Ryoho initiation through the International House of Reiki that same year. Currently, she is an Animal and human Reiki practitioner and teacher in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. She enjoys promoting professional community relationships that help to spread the word about the numerous benefits of Reiki, and has worked and volunteered with veterinarians, animal shelter staff, and equine professionals in providing related educational opportunities. Julie Bandalin is a SARA practitioner in southeastern Wisconsin with animals, large and small, and their humans. She has completed Kathleen Prasad’s Animal Reiki Level I and Usui Reiki Levels I and II. She has studied different energy healing modalities including meditation, acupressure, equine massage and bodywork and more recently, combining Reiki with comfort care, hospice and honoring end of life choices with horses. She finds everything she does circles back to Reiki. She currently volunteers her time caring for horses that participate in a therapy environment. She volunteers at a local animal shelter as an adoption counselor and facilitate a monthly pet loss support group for the community.
In addition to being a SARA practitioner, She is a Certified Pet Loss Bereavement Specialist and a Certified Animal Hospice Practitioner. Angela Hart is a SARA Practitioner in Woodbridge, VA which is in the DC Metro Area. Although her Reiki journey, Usui Shiki Ryoho Levels 1 – III, focused on human treatments, Angela has always loved animals and knew that Animal Reiki was her destiny. As a child, Angela was always caring for wild animals and she began her collegiate journey in the pre-veterinary medicine program at Virginia Tech. She believes that Reiki is the most profoundly powerful way to benefit animals and compliment traditional medical treatments for the most effective healing and reduction in stress and anxiety. Angela has completed Kathleen Prasad’s Let Animals Lead Level 1 training in addition to several other Animal Reiki trainings globally. Suzanne Golden is a SARA Practitioner, canine massage and cold laser therapist in Upstate South Carolina. She volunteers at Greenville County Animal Care and Safe Haven Exotic Animal Sanctuary and offers her services to local animal rescues. Ann Asadorian is a SARA Practitioner in Rhode Island. She lovingly offers Reiki to dogs, cats, horses, and all animals large and small. Ann is blessed to have shared her life with many animals, including some very special foster dogs, and currently lives with 3 rescue dogs, 1 cat, 1 canary and 2 horses, with frequent visits from her daughter’s bunny, ball python and bearded dragon. Heidi Hart-Zorin is a SARA practitioner who lives in Portland, Oregon. Heidi’s interest in Animal Reiki began while reading a book written by Kathleen Prasad in hopes of supporting her rescue dog Skye and adapted rabbit Patsy. After receiving distant Reiki with Kathleen Prasad and seeing the positive impact with Skye and Patsy, Heidi went on to complete Animal Reiki trainings with Kathleen Prasad and SARA teacher Victoria Kress. Animal Reiki has been a blessing and fulfills a lifelong dream of helping animals and showing gratitude for all the gifts and grace animals have brought to her life. Susan Geiss
Susan is a SARA Practitioner and an Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki Master residing in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Susan has always had an affinity to working with animals, especially those in need. She has volunteered in many different animal rescues, some of which are Save the Horses in Cumming, GA and the League for Animal Welfare in Batavia, OH. These experiences have given Susan a wealth of experience with a variety of animals, from dogs and cats, to goats and horses. With her kids all grown, she currently shares her home with 3 dogs, a horse and her husband. She is the proud owner of Reiki Centered Healing.

Leah Pierce is a SARA practitioner located in Durham, North Carolina. She is a volunteer at her county shelter, Animal Protection Society, with a passion for supporting the new dogs as they adapt to the shelter environment. She also is a volunteer with Pets at Duke, a therapy pet program in the hospital supporting cancer and pediatric patients. Amy Gibson is a SARA Practitioner based in Wilmington, North Carolina. Amy is a Reiki Master Practitioner, an Animal Death Doula, and owns a compassionate pet care service in Wilmington. When not spending time with animals, Elizabeth enjoys playing Scottish fiddle and piano, practicing yoga and working out. She and her husband live in Rochester very close to the city zoo.
Suzanne Bird
Suzanne has practiced various Reiki styles for several years, and recently received her three levels of animal Reiki training with SARA animal Reiki Teacher William (Bill) Stevens. Thanks to Bill and SARA Practitioner Sally Williams, she now volunteers as an Animal Reiki Practitioner and cat socializer at the Monmouth County SPCA. She lives in Tinton Falls, and owns a nearby relaxation business where she offers Reiki sessions, Reiki classes and stress reduction workshops for humans. She is owned by three indoor rescue cats and a backyard TNR, and her passions include yoga, spending time in the woods, and studying Bön Buddhism. Suzanne and her husband also help a local TNR rescue group. She is grateful that her cats remind her to meditate – often by sitting on the empty cushion.
