ANIMAL REIKI: ON THE CUTTING-EDGE OF HOLISTIC ANIMAL THERAPIES
Animal Reiki Teacher and author Kathleen Prasad to speak at 2008 33rd annual conference of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association
Kathleen Prasad will be presenting a seminar on Animal Reiki for Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians, Monday October 13th at the 2008 Annual AHVMA Convention in Reno, NV at John Ascuaga’s Nugget Casino Resort.
A growing number of veterinarians around the world are opening their minds and even offices to Reiki. In the United States alone, nearly 100 veterinarians are listed as Reiki practitioners with the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association
(www.ahvma.org).
Says Kathleen Prasad, “Reiki is a wonderful support to conventional and holistic veterinary medicine.”

About Reiki: Reiki, or “spiritual energy”, is a Japanese holistic healing system in which the practitioner uses meditation, breathing and other techniques to support the animal’s self-healing process with healing energy.
About Kathleen Prasad: As a Reiki Teacher and author, Kathleen offers training programs, treatment referrals and information about Reiki for animals. She has taught Reiki to students all over the world as well as organizations such as BrightHaven Healing Arts Center for Animals, Guide Dogs for the Blind, and The Elephant Sanctuary.
