A major part of SARA is the close relationship between teachers and practitioners and the shelters and sanctuaries with which they are involved. Members are encouraged to give back to their local organizations by volunteering Reiki treatments, donating, organizing fundraisers and offering Animal Reiki classes and events. Many of SARA’s members have created wonderful relationships through both healing and financial support of their local shelters.
