Today is World Animal Reiki Day.
Any horse can benefit from Reiki and is very useful when used in conjunction with veterinary care. It can help horses recover quicker as it stimulates the body’s self healing abilities, the deep relaxation allows the body to shift into the parasympathetic nervous system state (the “rest and digest state”), which reduces tension, reduces stress, allows for better blood flow, and boosts nervous system function.
